OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 pkg. (4 serving size) vanilla flavored instant pudding
2 eggs
3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 c. chocolate chips (mini bits)

Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars and the pudding mix in a large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in the eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture; then stir in the oats and chocolate mini bits (batter will be stiff).

Drop by rounded measuring teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen.
