ISLAND SPARERIBS 
6 lb. pork spareribs
1 c. sherry wine
1 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. ketchup
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. powdered ginger
1 tsp. pepper

Precook spareribs for 30 minutes. Mix all the ingredients in a shallow pan. After ribs precook place in pan, pour the mixture over ribs and let stand for 3 hours. After 3 hours cook in oven at 275 degrees for 2 hours. Check ribs and spoon mixture over them.
