PRETZEL SALAD 
2 c. crushed pretzels
3/4 c. butter (melted)
3 tbsp. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (if you want)

Combine pretzels, butter, sugar and nuts. Press into 9x13 pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Let cool.

2ND LAYER:

8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip

Beat cream cheese and sugar until blended. Stir in Cool Whip and spread on pretzel crust.

TOPPING:

6 oz. strawberry Jello
2 c. boiling water
2 pkgs. (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries

Dissolve Jello in boiling water and stir in strawberries, let stand for 10 minutes. Pour on top of Cool Whip and chill until set. Cut in squares.
