CRUNCHY FUDGE SANDWICHES 
1 c. butterscotch chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
4 c. Rice Krispies
1 tbsp. water
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. butter

Melt butterscotch with peanut butter in heavy saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly until well blended. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Stir until well coated with butterscotch mixture. Press half of cereal mixture into buttered 8 inch square pan. Chill in refrigerator while preparing fudge mixture. Set aside remaining cereal mixture.

Combine chocolate, sugar, butter and water; stir over hot water until chocolate melts and mixture is well blended. Spread over chilled cereal mixture. Spread remaining cereal mixture evenly over top. Press in gently. Chill. Remove from refrigerator for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares. Makes about 25 squares, 1 1/2 inch thick.
