ORANGE BAVARIAN CREAM | |
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding mix 1 tbsp. unflavored gelatin 1/4 c. sugar 1 1/2 c. orange juice 1/2 c. ice water 1/2 c. instant nonfat dry milk 2 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. grated orange rind Combine pudding mix, gelatin, sugar and orange juice in saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Cool. Pour ice water in bowl. Add 1/2 cup dry milk and whip to peaks (3 to 4 minutes). Add lemon juice and continue whipping until set. Using same beaters, whip pudding lightly. Fold pudding and orange rind into whipped milk. Spoon into 1 1/2 cup mold. Chill. Serves 6. Nutritious and light to end a meal. |
