PAT'S MACCARONADE 
1 lb. sausage, hot or mild
1 lb. hamburger
3 lg. onions, sliced
6 garlic bulbs, sliced
28 oz. can tomatoes
1 1/3 pkg. big macaroni (8 oz.)
6 oz. Swiss cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. water

Lightly brown sausage and remove from skillet. Drain excess fat, leaving enough to saute onions; add garlic after onions are lightly browned. Put mixture in large pot, add browned meat, tomatoes and water. Cook 30-40 minutes on top of stove. Add 4 ounces of cheese and parsley. Cook macaroni; drain. Pour entire mixture with macaroni into large baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese and parsley on top. Brown topping in oven and serve hot.
