4 c. sugar
6 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water
4 lemons, juice and grated rind
2 whole eggs and 2 yolks
1/2 stick butter

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan. Cook until thick. Spread on cake. Enough for 4 layers.
