COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. milk, heat in pot
1 stick butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. nutmeg
2 or 3 pkgs. yeast
7 - 7 1/2 c. flour

Put all except the last 2 ingredients in a bowl; mix well. When cooled to lukewarm, add the yeast and stir. Then add the flour.

Put in lightly greased bowl, cover with cling wrap and let rise in a warm place until double in size. Put in greased pans with streusel on top. (Recipe follows.) Let rise again. Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Makes 6 cakes.
