2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 c. strong coffee (1 tsp. coffee to 1 c. water)
1 c. milk

Sift dry ingredients in bowl. Dump wet things in bowl. Beat until well mixed. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in cake comes out clean.

FILLING:

2 egg whites
4 tbsp. milk
1 lb. 10X sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. Crisco

Beat egg whites. Add vanilla and beat well. Sift sugar and add to mixture. Add milk and shortening and beat well.
