1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 tbsp. baking soda
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
Chocolate kisses

Beat butter, peanut butter and sugar until light. Add egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Form into a ball and roll in sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and put a chocolate kiss on top of each cookie, pressing firmly. Return to oven for 2 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
