1 pkg. chocolate cake mix
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/4 c. flaked coconut

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Spoon batter into paper lined muffin pan cups. Fill each cup about 2/3 cup full. In a bowl beat together cream cheese, and sugar. Beat in salt and egg. Stir in chocolate chips and coconut. Place a teaspoonful in center of each cupcake. Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Frost as desired with any frosting.
