PEANUT BUTTER BALLS | |
1 c. real butter, softened 1 (12 oz.) jar Jif extra crunchy peanut butter 1 box confectioners' sugar Cream all of these ingredients together and roll into small balls. Chill on foiled covered cookie sheet in freezer. While chilling do the following: Take 12 ounce of chocolate chips and 1/2 bar of paraffin (can be found sold in boxes in the canning section of the grocery store) and melt them together in a double boiler. Dip chilled balls into the hot mixture using a toothpick to hold the chilled ball. Set quickly back onto the foil. When all balls have been dipped take the leftover chocolate mixture and dribble a small amount over the top of each ball to cover up the toothpick hole and any exposed areas. Store in the refrigerator. |
