BANANA - NUT RING 
1 can crushed pineapple in juice
1 (8 serving) pkg. or 2 pkgs (4 servings) Jello strawberry-banana or any flavor
2 c. boiling water
2 bananas, sliced
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
1 tbsp. milk
1 3/4 c. (4 oz.) Cool Whip whipped topping, thawed

Drain pineapple, measuring juice. Add water to juice to make 1 1/2 cups. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add measured liquid; chill until thickened. Fold in bananas and pecans (or walnuts). Spoon into 6 cup ring mold. Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Meanwhile, fold pineapple and milk into whipped topping. Chill. Unmold gelatin. Spoon topping into center of ring.
