TAMALE PIE 
3 lbs. hamburg
2 c. chopped onion
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 c. cornmeal
4 cans chopped ripe olives
1/2 c. olive oil
1 tbsp. garlic
2 (No. 2) cans tomatoes
3 tbsp. chili powder
Dash of red pepper
2 cans water

Brown meat; add oil, onions, garlic and green pepper. Cook until soft; add tomatoes and seasoning. Simmer, covered for 5 minutes. Add cornmeal mixed with water; simmer 10 minutes. Stir in olives and pour into 2 (9"x14") casseroles.
