Put 3/4 cup of butter into mixing bowl. Measure 1 cup of sugar. With a fork blend sugar and butter. Blend in 2 eggs nd 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Blend in 2 1/2 cups flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt. Put dough in bowl and chill at least 1 hour. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 6 to 8 minutes at 400 degrees. | |
