Boil 6 yams in skins until done. Slice and place into 9x13 inch pan. Mix: 2 sticks butter 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. nutmeg 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. vanilla Bring sauce to boil and pour over sliced yams. Bake in 400 degree oven until candied, approximately 30-45 minutes. | |
