SWEET ONION CASSEROLE 
4 med. sweet onions, sliced into rings
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. potato chips
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. milk
Paprika for sprinkling

Layer half of the onions in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover with half of the cheese. Then half the potato chips. Repeat layers. Season with salt and pepper.

Blend soup and milk in a bowl. Pour over layers. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle with paprika. Makes 10 servings.

Vidalia onions are delicious. Imperial or any Spanish type may be used.
