PRONTO BEEF 
3 lb. stew meat, cut into 1 1/2 inch squares
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tbsp. oil
1 (28 oz.) can green chili salsa
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 c. Red wine or water
2 tsp. oregano
2 bay leaves

In heavy skillet brown seasoned meat on all sides in heated oil. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over rice.
