NEW ORLEANS WINE CHICKEN | |
4 chicken breast fillet 6 tbsp. flour 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. paprika 4 tbsp. butter 3/4 c. white wine 1 tsp. chicken bouillon 1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 bay leaf 1 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms 1/2 c. diced onions 3/4 c. diced celery 1/2 c. grated carrot 1/2 c. sour cream Green pepper, diced for garnish Mix flour, salt, pepper and paprika. Pat on chicken. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in pan, brown chicken breasts on both sides. Melt remaining butter in pan. Stir in remaining flour mixture until smooth. Add wine, stir until smooth. Stir in chicken bouillon, poultry seasoning, bay leaf, mushrooms, onions, carrots and celery. Add chicken breasts. Cover and simmer 20-25 minutes. Remove chicken stir in sour cream into pan. Cook until heated pour over chicken and serve. Sprinkle with parsley and green pepper. |
