CLAM PIE 
1 tin of clams
1 c. + 2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. butter
5 tbsp. shortening
2 potatoes, sliced thin
1 tsp. salt
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 1/2 c. milk
Pepper to taste

Boil potatoes and onion. Add white sauce from butter, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 cup milk, salt and pepper (to season). Add clam juice and clams to sauce. Let cool. Place in deep pie pan or casserole dish.
