STUFFED GREEN PEPPERS 
1 lb. ground meat
1 sm. onion
1/4 c. uncooked rice
2 sm. cans tomato sauce
1 med. can (16 oz.) chopped tomatoes
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. sage
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp. brown sugar

In large bowl, mix meat, onion, rice, eggs and seasoning. Mix well. Wash and core 6 green peppers. Remove all seeds. Fill each pepper with mixture, packing firmly. Place pepper in Corningware dish large enough to hold peppers upright. Pour tomatoes and tomato sauce over peppers. Simmer on stove top for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
