FIDO'S FABULOUS PEOPLE CRACKERS | |
1/4 c. hot tap water 8 chicken bouillon cubes 1 pkg. active dry yeast 1 tsp. sugar 2 c. whole wheat flour 2 c. wheat germ 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 c. tomato juice Pour the water into large bowl. Add the chicken cubes and crush them. Stir in yeast, sugar and let stand for 5 minutes. Add tomato juice, 1 cup white flour and the wheat germ. Stir until smooth. Stir in remainder of white and wheat flour (dough will be very dry and stiff). Take a handful of dough and work into a small ball, flattening with a floured cutting board with a rolling pin. With a table knife cut out people shapes. Lift with spatula onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour. Let dry in turned-off oven for quite a while, 4 hours or so. Serve with a bowl of water and a nice big bone. (These are dog biscuits.) |
