STUFFED CABBAGE 
1 head cabbage, 3 lb.
1 lg. can sauerkraut
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1/2 lb. ground pork
Add 1 c. warm water to meats mix
1 egg
1/2 med. onion, diced fine
1 c. uncooked rice, washed
Salt and pepper to taste

Cut deeply around core of cabbage to loosen leaves. Boil cabbage about 5 minutes. Take leaves apart and set aside to cool. Remove about 1 inch of rib from cabbage leaves. Combine remaining ingredients except for sauerkraut and mix. Roll in cabbage leaves. Put sauerkraut in large pot; then place cabbage rolls on top of the sauerkraut; alternate cabbage rolls and sauerkraut. Add 1 can tomato soup or tomato sauce mix with water. Pour over. Put in oven at 350 degrees and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
