CARAMEL TURTLES 
2 c. sugar
Dash salt
2 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
2 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Over medium heat, mix sugar, corn syrup and salt in heavy pan. Bring to boil. Cook to form ball, 245 degrees, stirring occasionally. Gradually add butter and cream slowly so never tops boiling until medium ball stage, about 240 degrees (not paste 242 degrees). Add flavoring. Set until starts to thicken.
