2 lb. bag frozen hash brown potatoes, slightly thawed
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 c. sour cream
8 oz. sharp, grated cheddar cheese

TOPPING:

2 c. cornflakes, crushed
1/4 c. melted butter
