PORK CHOPS AND RICE CREOLE 
6 pork chops
1 1/2 c. rice
1 med. onion
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. celery

Wash pork chops and place in frying pan or Dutch oven pot. Wash rice and pour over chops. Place onions, green peppers and celery over top of rice. Pour tomatoes and water over all. Add salt, pepper and sugar. Cook over low heat for 45 minutes or 1 hour. Serves 6.
