1 yellow cake mix (2 layer size)
1 lg. can crushed pineapple and 1 sm. can
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 lg. box instant French Vanilla pudding
3 (1/2) c. milk
3 bananas
Lg. carton Cool Whip or similar product
Coconut
Crushed pecans

Bake cake as directed on package. Remove from oven and punch holes in cake with fork. Beat pineapple and sugar together 5 minutes. Pour over hot cake. Cool. Mix cream cheese, pudding mix and milk. Beat until thick as directed on package. Spread over cake. Slice bananas and arrange on top of pudding. Spread whipped topping over cake. Sprinkle with coconut and chopped or crushed nuts. I use large Wilton cake pan that holds 2 full size cake mixes. Good for a crowd.
