PERSIMMON BREAD 
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. persimmon pulp
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs, beating well. Sift flour and soda. Add persimmon pulp and nuts. Pour into 2 small greased loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
