1/2 lb. smoked turkey 1 pkg. rice stick noodles 1 pkg. shrimp 1 pkg. carrots 1 1/2 c. cut green beans 1/2 cabbage, shredded 1 onion 2 tsp. soy sauce 2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. Accent 2 tbsp. vegetable oil Water to cover vegetables Boil turkey in water until done. Reserve stock. Cut turkey up into small pieces. Parboil cut-up carrots and string beans for 5 minutes. Brown turkey in small amount of oil, remove and set aside. Saute onions, then add shrimp and vegetables. Add reserved stock (above) just to cover turkey, shrimp, carrots, string beans and onions and cook for 3-4 minutes over low flame. TO COOK NOODLES: Boil water, remove from heat, add 1 package of noodles and drain immediately in colander, no more than 1 minute. Add noodles to meat and vegetables on very low flame. Then add all seasonings (salt, pepper, soy sauce, Accent). Finally add shredded cabbage. |
