APPLE FILLED ACORN SQUASH 
3 acorn squash
2 apples, chopped
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut squash in half lengthwise and scrape out seeds. Place cut side down in baking dish and bake for 25 minutes. Mix the other ingredients. Turn cut side up, fill with apple mix and continue baking for 20 minutes, or until squash is tender.
