CANDY BAR CAKE
3 MILKY WAY® candy bars, chopped
1 c. butter, softened & divided
2 c. sugar
4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Combine candy bars and 1/2 cup butter in a heavy saucepan; place over medium heat and stir constantly until candy melts. Set aside.

Beat remaining 1/2 cup butter at medium speed with electric mixer about 2 minutes or until soft and creamy. Gradually add sugar, beat at medium speed 5 to 7 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears. Stir in vanilla.

Combine flour and soda; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix at low speed just until blended after each addition. Stir in nuts and candy bar mixture.

Pour batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes on wire rack; remove from pan and let cool completely on wire rack.
