RICE KRISPIE TREATS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
6 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. butterscotch chips

Mix sugar and corn syrup in 3-quart pan; cook over moderate heat until mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter and Rice Krispies. Press into buttered 9x13x2 inch pan; let harden.

Mix chocolate and butterscotch chips in top of double boiler; place hot water until melted, stirring to blend. Spread over cereal mixture; chill. Cut into 2x1 inch bars. Yield: 48 bars.
