MICROWAVE TUNA PASTA BAKE | |
6 strips lasagna 1/2 c. onion, chopped 1 tbsp. vegetable oil 1/4 c. unsifted flour 2 c. vegetables, chopped 1 c. milk 1/2 c. real lemon 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded 1 c. cottage cheese 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 egg 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (12 1/2 oz.) can tuna, drained Place lasagna in 12 x 7 inch glass baking dish. Cover with water and set aside in 1 quart glass measure. Combine onion, oil and flour. Cook 1 minute; stir to dissolve flour. Stir in vegetables and milk. Cook 4 minutes stirring once. Stir in lemon. Combine 1 cup Mozzarella, cottage cheese, Parmesan, egg and pepper. Drain lasagna. In same dish, layer half each lasagna, vegetables, cheese and tuna. Repeat layers. Top with remaining 1/2 cup Mozzarella. Cover. Cook 15 minutes. Microwave ovens vary in wattage and power output. Cooking times may need to be adjusted. |
