PIZZA BALLS 
1 egg
1 c. soft fine bread crumbs
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. garlic salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. instant minced onions
1 lb. ground chuck
15 cubes (1/2") Monterey Jack cheese
Flour
2 tbsp. oil
2 (6 oz.) cans pizza sauce
Shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Beat egg lightly and add crumbs, milk, garlic, pepper and onion. Let stand a few minutes. Add ground chuck and mix well with a fork. Shape rounded tablespoons of mixture into balls, embedding a cube of cheese in each. (Be sure to cover cheese well.) Flour balls lightly and brown in oil. Pour off all oil, add pizza sauce and simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Place on serving dish and sprinkle generously with shredded cheese.
