1 egg
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot water

Fill greased muffin pans or lined ones 1/2 full. Bake at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
