1 box cake mix, any flavor
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. solid vegetable shortening
Confectioners sugar

White cake mix may be used with a few drops of food coloring.

Combine cake mix, eggs, water and shortening. Mix with a spoon until well blended. Shape dough into balls the size of small walnuts. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake at 357 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
