3 1/2 c. tart apples, chopped
2 c. sugar
1 c. melted butter
2 eggs
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. chopped nuts

Bake in a well-greased 9-inch tube pan at 375 degrees for 1 hour.

GLAZE:

1 stick melted butter
2 tbsp. hot water
1 1/2 c. 4X sugar
