JEWISH APPLE SUPREME 
3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
4 eggs
1 c. oil
1/4 c. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 or more peeled, sliced apples
1 tsp. cinnamon

CAKE GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
4 tsp. hot water
1 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour tube pan. Coat apples with cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar then put aside.

Mix ingredients: eggs, oil, vanilla, orange juice and dry ingredients; mix at moderate speed for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 batter into tube pan then place a layer of apples, then pour remainder of batter and finish top with the rest of the apples.

Bake about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. When cake is done and cooled. Mix glaze ingredients. For glaze, apply in zig-zag motion over cake.
