CHOCOLATE TOWN PIE 
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked
1/2 c. butter, softened
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla extract or 2 tbsp. bourbon
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. Hershey's semi-sweet chocolate chips or mini-chips
1 c. pecans or walnuts, chopped
Festive whipped cream

Prepare pastry shell; set aside. Heat oven to 350 degrees. In small mixer bowl cream butter; add eggs and vanilla or Bourbon. Combine sugar and flour; add to creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden. Cool about one hour; serve warm. Garnish with Festive Whipped Cream, if desired. Makes 8 to 10 servings.

FESTIVE WHIPPED CREAM:

1/2 c. chilled whipped cream
2 tbsp. confectioners sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract or 1 tsp. Bourbon

In small mixer bowl combine chilled whipped cream, confectioners sugar and vanilla extract or Bourbon; beat until stiff. Makes about 1 cup topping.
