CORN CHOWDER 
6 oz. bacon
1 med. onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
46 oz. chicken broth
4 c. chopped potatoes
1 green pepper, chopped
3 pkgs. frozen corn
1 1/2 c. half and half
Salt & Pepper to taste
Green onions, chopped (opt. as garnish)

Chop bacon finely, brown in skillet. Add onion and saute. Add flour, stir and brown. Add chicken broth slowly, bring to boil. Add potatoes, pepper and corn. Cook until potatoes are soft. Add half and half slowly. Add finely chopped green onions, salt and pepper to taste.
