ASPARAGUS ALMONDINE | |
1 lb. frozen or fresh asparagus, cooked until tender 2 tbsp. slivered almonds 2 tbsp. butter 1 tsp. lemon juice Cook asparagus. Meanwhile cook slivered almonds in butter over low heat. Stir occasionally until golden. Remove from heat, add lemon juice. Pour over beans and serve. Makes 4 servings. |
