BROWNIE COOKIES 
1/4 c. butter
4 sq. chocolate
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and chocolate over low or in double boiler. Add 2 cups sugar. Add the eggs, one at a time. Sift together and add 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Refrigerate dough for 15 minutes. Shape into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in powdered sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 15-20 minutes at 300 degrees.
