CHICKEN CHEESE LASAGNE 
8 oz. lasagne noodles
1 c. cream style cottage cheese
4 to 5 c. diced, cooked chicken
2 c. shredded Old English cheese
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 recipe Mushroom Sauce (below)

Cook noodles, drain, and rinse.

Mushroom Sauce: Cook 1/2 cup onion and 1/2 cup green pepper in butter. Stir 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1/3 cup milk, 1 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms, 1/4 cup chopped pimento, and 1 teaspoon basil.

Layer 1/2 noodles in 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover with 1/2 sauce, cottage cheese, and chicken; repeat and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
