PORK AND SAUERKRAUT SUPPER 
6 pork chops, cut thick
1 onion, diced
1 3/4 c. apple juice
2 (16 oz.) bags sauerkraut
2 med. potatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 cooking apples, cut into 1/2 inch chunks
1/2 tsp. salt
2/8 tsp. pepper

Brown pork chops. Remove to plate. IN drippings, brown onion. Add 1/4 cup apple juice to loosen bits from skillet. In 9 x 13 inch baking dish combine onion, sauerkraut, potatoes, apples and remaining juice. Tuck chops into sauerkraut mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cover with foil and bake 2 hours at 350 degrees or until potatoes are done.
