MEATLOAF WITH CHEDDAR | |
3 lb. hamburger or other ground meat such as turkey 3 eggs 1 c. seasoned bread crumbs 1/2 c. A-1 sauce 2/3 c. ketchup 1/2 c. Gulden's spicy brown mustard 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 2 tsp. onion powder or 1 onion, chopped fine 6 oz. Cheddar cheese (sliced thick) Thoroughly mix all ingredients except cheese. Use 2/3 meat mixture in roasting or baking pan. Build up sides and make a flat depression in the center. Place cheese slices in center of meat. Place the other 1/3 meat mixture on top of the cheese and meat and seal the edges. Drizzle ketchup on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Paul & Emma Savitz |
