PECAN GEMS 
1 can Eagle brand milk
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. pecan pieces

Cook on medium heat (approximately 15 minutes) until thick enough to spread on Ritz crackers (ovals). Bake 5 minutes at 250 degrees. Cool.

ICING (use mixer)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Chill pecan gems after icing. These can be frozen.
