CHOCOLATE CHIP BANANA NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 ripe bananas, mashed
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. semi sweet chocolate mini morsels
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped

Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating well at medium speed of electric mixer. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in bananas. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to creamed mixture, beating until blended. Stir in mini morsels and walnuts.

Spoon batter into greased 9"x5"x3" loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. (A wooden pick inserted in center should come out clean.) Cool in pan 10 minutes then remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack. Yield: 1 loaf.
