BUL-KOGI 
1 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds
2 lb. lean beef (sirloin or round steak, thinly sliced)
3 scallions, finely chopped
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
5 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. dry sherry

Combine all ingredients except steak and sesame seeds, mix well. Pour over steak slices and let stand 30 minutes to 2 hours. Drain meat; save marinade. Broil steak slices for 30 seconds to 1 minute; turn. Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Broil 30 seconds longer. Serve with white rice and reserved marinade. Makes 4-6 servings.
