BUTTERMILK BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. buttermilk

Sift all dry ingredients together, cut in Crisco, then add buttermilk. Mix a little, knead then roll until about 1/2" thick. Cut with a floured biscuit cutter or a glass. Pat into an ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
