1 yellow cake mix
1 sm. pkg. (3 3/4 oz.) of instant vanilla pudding mix
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1/3 c. oil
1 c. water

Pour batter into a greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes. Turn out on rack and cool. Split cake in two.

FILLING:

1 c. water
5 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1.2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
